Covers reading, math, music, and more - preschool to fifth grade. Our intent is to show each of our students just how much they can really accomplish in the right environment. The community has supported the district for many years now and it is evident how much we have improved the quality of our facilities and resources to support our students. I couldn’t be any more hopeful or optimistic about the future of our community. Please note that our Nutrition Services and Transportation Services will function according to the current early release schedule.Ī new calendar year brings with it hope and optimism. This additional time for staff allows them to get together and determine what we can be doing better to help educate all our students. On early release Wednesdays, our students will dismiss early, but our school teams will still stay on site, working to perfect their craft. This change allows our district to align with our partner districts, who already offer a weekly Wednesday early release schedule. That is why starting on January 10, 2024, all Wednesdays will become early release days for the remainder of the school year at each of our campuses. We need to spend more time enhancing our skills along with reviewing our notes and data to help us determine how we reach each student. Every person, and more importantly, every student, is unique with their own learning style along with strengths and weaknesses. As a district, that is where we find ourselves, and we care deeply about the students you send to us each day. Happy New Year! I hope that you find yourself rested and with a new resolve to inspire change either for yourself or for those that you care about. Dear Tolleson Union High School District Community,
